Simple but meaningful
25th November 2006 is a big day for Uda. The shorten engagement ends up with fade in rainy night that witness the marital of the couple. Yeah, it was a big day for him and thanks to every one for presence to the meaningful ceremony. We are please to bring ourselves to atuk house after we had the news and arrived around 6.30p.m. Luckily they all still in the preparation situation that make us not so obvious for the late arrival. It takes 6 minute to complete changing, " pakai baju main pakai hentam je ! " without any shameless, im changing inside the room that had a lot of people coming in and out. " don't borther-lah ... as long siap kira ok-lah ".
There are three families along the journey to the 'nikah' ceremony. Pak Man, Pak Mat and Pak teh family. They all are ready to be the eye witness for the pronunciation scene. We arrived the Panchor mosque exactly the community had finished the Isya' pray. We were then relax and get shelter inside the mosque to warm ourselves from rain outside. A few minutes later the brideroom coming with her family. She step in the mosque with body covered by Malay wedding dress, then sitting at woman's area with smiley face.
Several minutes passing by and the Tok Kadi arrived. He came with the official uniform that look's like MIB movie star. The first talk for the ceremony hit by ayah and a couple minutes later a minor speech by the kampung Imam. They telling to everyone that this couple are going married and hopping bless from Allah. As the Tok Kadi took over the ceremony, he start his part by giving advice to the couple and practicing the groom how the perfect pronunciation that he should make. I can see the nervous blood playing on his face, eheheh what a jerk.
As the story was cutten by me, Uda end's up the pronunciation 3 times. I think his tounge suddently became hard because of the nervous that he felt, or maybe the witness is too wicked to let him free easily. But the important point now he is married person and had already miss the extreme part that playing across mind of every husband in this world. At the end, i can see everybody that related pulls the nice breath with the happy face sparkling.
After the ceremony, the brideroom side invited us to have a dinner at their house. It's just opposite the mosque, what a bless. Actually, i can't wait to have dinner that time and what a suprise they served us with Jawa dish. My favorite. Luckily Sheyna slept already and that loosen me to eat peacefully. After finished the dinner and a simple talk from the brideroom family we make a move by going back to Atuk house.
