Police release photo of SMS woman
Perak police are seeking the help of a woman over an SMS sent earlier this month about a supposed baptism of Muslims at a church here.
RAJA SHERINA. Her help is sought in connection with the SMS baptism case.State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Aziz Bulat said police were releasing the photograph of the woman, whose name was given only as Raja Sherina, after she failed to turn up to give her statement despite the authorities giving her a deadline to do so.
“We need the public’s help to track her down,” he said.
Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria recently told the media that a woman, said to be in her 40s and a graduate of the International Islamic University of Malaysia and the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, had conveyed information to him about the supposed baptism of Muslims in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Silibin here on Nov 5.
The event turned out to be the first Holy Communion of 100 'Keling' Catholic children.
Speaking at a news conference here yesterday, DCP Aziz said police had gone to her registered addresses in Sungai Petani, Kedah and Sitiawan, Perak to look for her but the houses were empty.
He believed that she and her family were still in the country.
DCP Aziz urged those with information of the woman to contact the Perak state police at 05-2451222.

From which 'lobang' ntah she had the anonymous news that 200 over muslim want's to get babtism by the sailor Datuk Azhar Mansur. The new's spread deposit every inbox choosen people. Anyway ... if Datuk Azhar Mansur really still in ISLAM, i take this oppurtunity to appologise him because suspecting him as a 'bastard malay murtad'.
